The Cooperative

OP Costieragrumi De Riso represents the Costa d’Amalfi PGI Lemon.

The area of the Amalfi Coast, recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site, includes the hanging gardens that stretch from the sea to the slopes of the Lattari mountains.

Producers that have cultivated the Amalfi Lemon for centuries realised that in order to go far and reach the national and international fruit and vegetable market, it was necessary to join forces.

OP Costieragrumi De Riso was established in 2016 with the recognition obtained by the Ministry.

The cooperative was established to give a voice to many small producers by helping to market lemons, providing phytosanitary assistance, and establishing a Product Specification. Doing so allowed everyone to follow the same rules regarding fertilization resulting in a genuine product which is unique thanks to its edible peel.

This characteristic makes the Costa d’Amalfi Lemon PGI the perfect ingredient for creating excellent dishes and cocktails.

Costieragrumi has expanded its product selection. In addition to the fresh and packaged product, it has launched a new and unique selection of products derived from the Costa d’Amalfi Lemon PGI.

The company is currently equipped for cold processing, in order to offer a variety of products ranging from peels (both fresh and frozen), 100% natural lemon pulp and juice, organic, PGI-certified, and conventional essential oil.

There are no alternatives to the Costa d’Amalfi Lemon PGI comparable in terms of characteristics, fragrance, and genuineness since it is 100% natural.
